The vDBCompare tool makes updating a breeze, change your development database structure as needed and when you are ready to release just run the vDBCompare using your development database as the "Master" & a copy of the current release (e.g. you clients live database) & vDBCompare will show you the differences and even spit out the necessary code (VB.NET) to upgrade the target database for use in your UpgradeDatabase() function.

Its also handy for viewing the structure of a database on a clients machine if they don't have VistaDB Data Builder installed & because its .Net you can just carry it on a Flash Drive where ever you go.

There is a free version and a retail version (ONLY $29.95 US). The Retail version will provide code generation for databaes updates and other useful features.
